The purpose of the LANIC Electoral Observatory is to provide scholars, journalists, policy makers and the general public a convenient, easy-to-use set of on-line resources to follow and understand these electoral processes. The pages for each country are divided into four sections:
Electoral Coverage - Sites specifically devoted to disseminating information about upcoming elections, including polls, profiles of candidates and parties, up-to- the minute information, etc. Electoral Resources - links to past results, electoral legislation and election boards (where available) News - a short list of major national newspapers and magazines with extensive political coverage. Parties and Candidates - official links to political parties and their presidential candidates (again where available)
A fifth section on Results will be added to each page as elections are carried out. Obviously, no classification scheme is perfect, and users will undoubtedly note some overlap between categories.
This site contains Internet links to elections held in the 1990s. Some are at the municipal level.
"A research collection of district level election results for approximately 350 national legislative elections in 26 countries."
Excellent cite providing not only election data but also constitutions and primary source documents issued by political parties.
